Dear Mr. Governor,

I live in the state of Mississippi, but I have a daughter that is in one of your state prisons. Although I am not writing to say she is innocent, but I am writing because she was represented unjustly for it to be her first offense.(13 years and she didn't even hurt anyone. I just want someone that isn't bias to look over her case. I visit her once a year and I take her sons to see her. This may not be the site for this letter but I just don't know where to go with this. Thank you

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger:

I resort to you to help me achieve my dreams.
My name is Aleida Torres. I am Cuban-American and a doctor in dentistry, graduated with honors in a foreign country, with my diploma recognized in Europe.
I currently reside in Miami, FL, but in the year 2000, I went to California with dreams and hope to be successful in the United States. Luck did not accompany, or at least thats what Id like to think, and not that this is about a racial issue. I resided in California for three years, in Loma Linda. I prepared myself for the Restorative Technique Examination (a.k.a. Bench Exam). I was successful in this examination. I later got ready for the State Board Licensure Examination. To prepare myself for these exams, I attended the Duggan Study Institute; he also gave classes at the nearby university.
Here is where the Nightmare of my life begins. The Dental Board of California had a change of command. The former president of the board, Dr. Robert Christoffersen from the University of the Pacific, was in charge for fourteen years of the Dental Board. While he was the head of the board, everything flowed well. Unfortunately, he was taken out of the board. (They say these are political positions.) He has been replaced with George SooHoo.

Now, there is something that I do not understand, how come your name Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger doesnt not appear on any of the papers of the board? Instead, Governor Gray Daviss name still appears. I am a republican and this bothers me!

Just like this has happened, similar things have happened to me. I went three times to the board examination, which I failed. So, I was sent to a course which I had to pay $5,000.00 for at UCLA with Doctors Robert Lindemann, William Morgan, and Richard Stevenson. This cost does not include the living and examination expenses amongst others. I applied again, and was given three new opportunities, but this time, I had exemptions such as Laws and Ethics, Class III Composite, and Endodontics. Not even then was I able to be successful! My last exam was March 24-28, 2004. In this exam, because of one point I did not get my license. This point was from the section of Periodontics, where I received a score of 74%, and need a passing grade of 75%, as you can see. Surprisingly enough, my total score came out to be a 78%. (You can have two subjects with less than 75% but it has to be a practical and written exam. The sum of these, divided by the quantity of subjects, must total 75% or higher). It is very difficult to understand this, due to the fact that there are practical (with patients) and written exams combined; it is their criteria which they see, and from there results my score.
For example, in one of my exams I was marked down for a tooth that wasnt even in the section of the mouth that I was working on! Then I had to file an appeal to retake the exam even though it had been their error. On another occasion, I was doing my last written exam of Removable Prosthodontics. I had not been feeling well, due to diabetic problems and much of the tension that had been created, so I previously informed the staff members. I began my exam on the incorrect number. I pleaded with my eyes full of tears to be given an opportunity to retake that portion of the examination, which was going t be given for another group a few moments later. I was told by Dr.SooHoo that I would have to retake the entire exam again. He denied me the opportunity.
Just like these examples I have given you, I have other proof of errors that they have made, and have not been recognized; I will attach them.
In the attached papers, I have an exemption in Class III Composite, I was given incorrect test scores, as you will be able to see.

I want to let you know that when this new president was elected, he was criticized very much by his own staff and even the doctors and the UCLA and UOP. It was said that he did not know what he was doing and left much to be spoken amongst the professionals (Just like your name does not appear on the boards papers leaves much to say)

Mr. Governor, I hope that my voice will be heard, and that you will help me reach what I long for, my dreams to become reality.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Dear Govenor:

I worked in Kibbutzim in 1950 & was inspired by the vision of a homeland for the Jews. Fifty years later, I returned to the Holy Land with a human rights delegation and was shocked to learn that the Zionist Jews did not go to Palestine to live in peace in a shared homeland for all of the Semitic people, as I had believed, but had gone to Palestine to dispossess the indigenous inhabitants in order to create an "exclusively Jewish" state. What a disgrace to Judaism which gave us our treasured heritage of justice!! I was raised in Protestant tradition but my deep convictions about justice came first from Judaism (the Old Testament).

The letter below expresses my sentiments exactly. I implore you not to go and honor Israel with its endless record of blatent, egregious injustice.

Sincerely,

Edith Cacciatore

Dear Governor Schwarzenneger:

We ask, no, we demand, that you cancel your trip to Jerusalem
Museum of "Tolerance" To Be Built on Stolen Palestinian Land

We have read that on May 2nd 2004 you are scheduled
to take part in a groundbreaking ceremony for a museum that will be
built on Palestinian land in Jerusalem stolen by Israel from its rightful
owners. The project is funded by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which
designated the museum to be a "Museum of Tolerance" to promote "civility and
tolerance among Jews, and between Jews and non-Jews, including Arabs."

Since the site for the museum will be on confiscated Palestinian land,
calling it a "Museum of Tolerance" is blatantly hypocritical.
Additionally, the Simon Wiesenthal Center advocates an exclusively Jewish
State and considers "dangerous" the demand for the implementation of the
inalienable right of Palestinian refugees to return to their original homes
and lands from which they were dispossessed by Israel. This natural, legal
and moral right to return is enshrined the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights, International Law and numerous UN resolutions.

The primary fiscal sponsor of the museum is the Simon Weisenthal Center.
This is hardly the sort of organization capable of producing a "Museum
of Tolerance" since the Weisenthal Center advocacy for an exclusive Jewish
Israeli State is well known. The Weisenthal Center's position on the
inalienable rights of Palestinian refugees is contrary to the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, International Law and numerous UN resolutions.

Thank you for reading this.

Sincerely,
Paul & Carol Bradford
