Not fscking likely - this little news item. From Nasdaq:
China to release more than 10 mln T of coal from reserves
China will release more than 10 million tonnes of coal from state reserves to ensure steady supply to the market, the powerful state planner said in a statement on Thursday, the year's fifth such release.
The coal will come from dozens of reserve hubs and key ports nationwide, the National Development and Reform Commission said, adding that the government would arrange further releases from reserves in line with market demand.
In April, the state planner urged power plants, coal miners and major coal transport hubs to boost reserves of the fuel, spurred by concerns over tight supplies and an expected demand surge.
It had vowed to build coal stockpiles to more than 120 million tonnes in government deployable reserves in 2021.
Not only ten million tons of coal being sent to the furnaces of industry, this is the fifth time this year so almost once per month. And then, there is this graph:
The so-called activists in the US do not know how good they have it.
They need to go sit in the corner. Or, move to China and harass the government there.
I would even contribute some money to their plane ticket as long as it was one-way.
