Biden's speech - some excerpts

Other bloggers are doing an excellent job of excerpting some of the howlers from today's speech.

“I Will Use My Power to Get Them Out of the Way” – Tyrant Joe Biden Vows to Bully, Harass GOP Governors who Refuse His Vaccine Rules
Joe Biden threatened Republican governors on Thursday to follow his rules or, “I will use my power to get them out of the way.”

Joe Biden went after anyone who stood in his way on Thursday. You either agree with him and follow his unconstitutional orders or you will be destroyed.

Joe Biden, “let me be blunt. My plan also takes on elected officials in states that are undermining you… Talk about bullying the schools. If these governors won’t help us beat the pandemic, I will use my power as president to get them out of the way.”

Why yes, he did just say what I thought he said. From Newsweek:

Marjorie Taylor Greene Invokes Nazi-Era Medical Code in Opposing Biden Vaccine Mandate
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia pushed back on a looming vaccine mandate, claiming that it violated a World War II-era medical code that addressed medical crimes against humanity.

President Joe Biden is expected to sign an executive order requiring federal employees and contractors to be vaccinated against COVID-19 on Thursday. The goal is to use employment as an incentive for people to get vaccinated in an effort to curb the pandemic, but the requirement has faced backlash for being seen as an encroachment on people's ability to make their own medical decisions.

Ahead of Biden signing the executive order, Greene posted on Twitter, "We don't take orders from Fascist in my office," adding, "Remember the Nuremberg Code Joe?"

Yeah - the Nuremberg code is a thing.  It was codified into law in the 1940's and it is still on the books today. Simple really:

    1. Required is the voluntary, well-informed, understanding consent of the human subject in a full legal capacity.
    2. The experiment should aim at positive results for society that cannot be procured in some other way.
    3. It should be based on previous knowledge (like, an expectation derived from animal experiments) that justifies the experiment.
    4. The experiment should be set up in a way that avoids unnecessary physical and mental suffering and injuries.
    5. It should not be conducted when there is any reason to believe that it implies a risk of death or disabling injury.
    6. The risks of the experiment should be in proportion to (that is, not exceed) the expected humanitarian benefits.
    7. Preparations and facilities must be provided that adequately protect the subjects against the experiment’s risks.
    8. The staff who conduct or take part in the experiment must be fully trained and scientifically qualified.
    9. The human subjects must be free to immediately quit the experiment at any point when they feel physically or mentally unable to go on.
    10. Likewise, the medical staff must stop the experiment at any point when they observe that continuation would be dangerous.

1,2 - violation.  3? First use of mRNA vaccines on humans (VAERS). 4,5 - violation 6 - quibble. 7 - experimental and no liability for the manufacturer. 8 - OK. 9 - violation, 10 - not seeing it. So yes, The Nuremberg Code Joe...

Betting that lots more will show up soon. Hey - at least the prole's minds are off the Afghanistan screwup.

Biden Unveils Most Severe COVID Actions Yet: Mandates Vax For All Federal Workers, Contractors, & Large Private Companies

They have compiled a bunch of people's reactions. Got to love Psaki gathering her papers and bailing out on a very simple question.

Interesting times...
