Have some demi-baguettes in the freezer (like them so bought a whole case). Having one of those (toasted of course) with the stew for dinner. Lots of onions, garlic and other goodies. The beef is tri-tip. Packaged stew meat is a mix of stuff which cook at different rates. Use the one cut when I make it. Also use V-8 juice for the stock. Got this recipe dialed in.
