Seriously? A Harmful Language Alert? For the United States Constitution?
Librarians are supposed to be 100% neutral. Preserve the document and do not fscking editorialize.
Statement on Harmful Language you ask? Here:
And ready for its closeup:
So the librarians at our taxpayer funded National Archives are saying that our United States Constitution has words that are racist, sexist, ableist, etc... Are they really doing the job that they were hired for? I do not think so and I would clean house. Get rid of the department that thought up this censorious bit of stateism - consign them to some district office in Minden, Nebraska. Hand them a mop and a bucket and tell them that they will get a performance review in ten years or so. If we remember them.
The rot is deep. We have much work ahead of us - time to get started cleaning it out.
