Fort Freedom was an energy BBS (Bulletin Board System - online message system predating the internet). This site has the entire contents of the BBS available online. The BBS was run by Professor Petr Beckmann who passed away a few years ago. He was also founder of the "Access to Energy" newsletter and a lot of that information can be found on
this website.
To quote from the Access to Energy site:
