The best CD-R disks
Although the CD-R disks you get from Costco and the other box stores are fine for general use, they are made with Cyanine which will decay with exposure to heat and light.
MAM-A - Mitsui Advanced Manufacturing-America makes disks with Phthalocyanine and coats this with a thin layer of gold. From their website:
bq. Accelerated aging tests show that MAM Gold can be used as a reliable storage media for more than 300 years. All of the main components in the MAM Gold CD-R are very stable in the environment; plastic (polycarbonate), Phthalocyanine dye and gold (it NEVER oxidizes).
Price is reasonable too - $135/100 in the pictured bulk-pack
