A fun day out with the family

A good time was had by all Some odious tone-deaf legislators in Washington State are trying to pass yet another gun control piece of legislation. I ask them, when has this ever worked to prevent criminals from obtaining firearms? If they were really serious about this, they should pass a law stating that if a firearm was present during a crime, there would be an automatic irrevocable ten years of jail time added to whatever sentence was handed out. No excuses. No parole. Ten years in the slammer. Even if the gun was not used or displayed. Hat tip to Theo for the link.
