Fscking hypocrites - from FOX News:

Gay Trump supporters denied entry into Charlotte Pride Parade
A group says ‘Charlotte Pride’ is pushing them out of the Gay Pride Parade because they support President Trump.

"I’m very proud of my country, proud of my president, and was once proud of my community," said Brian Talbert, who said he’s proud to be gay and proud to be a Trump supporter.

A bit more:

Talbert, a member of "Gays for Trump, which is not affiliated with the "Gays for Trump" based in Greensboro, NC, said he and a fellow gay Trump supporter sent in an application to Charlotte Pride so they could have a float in this year's Charlotte Pride Parade.

"It was going to be fun. We wanted to be energetic. We wanted to show that we weren't the racist, bigot, misogynistic…We wanted to show that we are Americans, love our country and our president. We wanted to be there to celebrate gay pride. Everything fell into place except being able to celebrate who I am," he said.

Talbert said Charlotte Pride sent him an email denying his application for a float.

"For a group of people to claim to want tolerance, acceptance, and give it to every single person you can imagine to give it to, for them to sit back and judge me for exercising my right as an American to choose my leader without judgment is hypocritical," Talbert said.

Really shows what the narrative is - they virtue signal about tolerance but their actions? Not so much. Talbert started up a wonderful website: DeplorablePride

Last week, two women in Portland had to close their taco truck because people were complaining that they were appropriating the Mexican culture and, being white women, they were not allowed to do that. Some people compiled a list of all the restaurants that are culturally appropriating cuisine - from the Tasting Table:

This Is a List of Every "Culturally Appropriative" Restaurant in Portland
Last week, the Internet exploded over a white-owned Portland burrito truck that was forced to close over an issue of cultural appropriation. After being featured in a Portland-based magazine, word that the two women had "stolen" their recipes from Mexico spread like wildfire, causing Kooks Burritos to shutter amid the controversy.

In the aftermath of the closing, many commenters online voiced their agreement with the consequences, while others found the claims of cultural appropriation to be largely unfounded and exaggerated.

Still, people of color (POC) in the Portland community want to take more steps toward preventing cultural appropriation from taking over their food culture. In response, a Google Doc called "(Alternatives To) White-Owned Appropriative Restaurants in Portland" is now in circulation, featuring an extensive list of what the creators deem to be appropriative establishments in Portland. The list, which can be viewed here, offers the names of the business owners, as well as the nearest POC-owned dining alternative for each restaurant.

From the document:

This is NOT about cooking at home or historical influences on cuisines; it's about profit, ownership, and wealth in a white supremacist culture.
White people are nearly 50% more likely than people of color (POC) to own a business in the state of Oregon. Ownership builds wealth in ways that employment does not. The racial wealth and small business lending gaps in the US are pronounced, which allows white folks to open new businesses more easily. These white-owned businesses hamper the ability for POC to run successful businesses of their own (cooking their own cuisines) by either consuming market share with their attempt at authenticity or by modifying foods to market to white palates. Their success further perpetuates the problems stated above. It's a cyclical pattern that will require intentional behavior change to break.

Hmmmm - the Tard is strong in that one. Or as Bugs the Wise once said:

The headline is all that you need - from The London Daily Mail:

'There's a bunch of old white guys trying to silence me!' Kathy Griffin breaks down in tears claiming Trump family ruined her life - as her lawyer scoffs at report Barron was upset over severed head video

Pathetic - this is one of the cases where the word "Bimbo" really applies.

Good riddance - Prenda Law

They got their day in court. From Engadget:

Copyright troll lawyer is finally disbarred for fraud
illegal to download copyrighted files from file-sharing sites, it is also against the law to extort downloaders. John L. Steele, a Chicago lawyer who pled guilty to perjury, fraud and money laundering resulting from alleged "honeypot" schemes, has just been disbarred by an Illinois court. Both Steele and his law partner, Paul Hasmeier, were indicted last March for uploading porn videos that they acquired through sham companies in the West Indies and then suing whomever downloaded them, resulting in a staggering $6 million in settlement fees. That's quite a honeypot.

According to the Cook County Record, Steele's law firm, Prenda, would use court subpoenas to find out who had downloaded the pornographic content -- some of which they filmed themselves -- and then allegedly pressure the downloaders for settlement money in exchange for dropping the suit. Profiting from such extortions without disclosure is what led to a US district judge sanctioning Steele and Hasmeier in 2013, as well as passing the case along to the FBI. Hasmeier's case is still pending, though his law license was suspended in 2016.

Heh - have fun appealing this one...

Good news from Washington State

Act out at a protest tantrum, you deserve to be identified and prosecuted. From The Seattle Times:

Wearing masks, hoods at protests could become crime under new bill
Protesters wearing masks or hoods during demonstrations could be charged with a crime, if one GOP state senator has his way.

The bill by state Sen. Jim Honeyford, R-Sunnyside, arrives as similar laws are being considered in other states, including Georgia, Missouri and Montana.

SB 5941 would make it illegal for someone to stand on a sidewalk, road or any public ground with their face covered, unless that person was exempted for religious or myriad other reasons spelled out in the bill.

And the reason for this bills genesis:

Introduced Monday, Honeyford’s proposal is aimed at “a small but dangerous group of individuals who conceal their identities while committing illegal acts under the guise of political protest,” SB 5941 says.

Honeyford said he first considered such legislation after Seattle’s tumultuous 1999 World Trade Organization protests.

But recent May Day demonstrations in Portland and Olympia prompted him to draft the bill, which would make it a gross misdemeanor to wear a mask or hood. Several demonstrators wore masks at those protests, where violence erupted.

Cue the Peanut Gallery:

The exemptions show the bill is designed to target protesters, which is unconstitutional, argued Elisabeth Smith with the ACLU of Washington.

“The First Amendment actually protects people’s right to wear a mask in public” at demonstrations, said Smith, a legislative director for the organization.

“It’s clear that the impetus is to criminalize protest behavior,” Smith added.

Elisabeth - here is the text of the First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

First of all, you are addressing the wrong venue as stated by the Tenth Amendment:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

The bill is being brought before the Washington State Congress and only concerns WA State Citizens.

Second, I take this line from the First Amendment:

...the right of the people peaceably to assemble...

Those people acting out did not arrive at the tantrum to peaceably assemble - they came with the intent to do harm to property and people. Elisabeth, you are doing the legal equivalent of flinging poo on the walls and hoping that some of it sticks.

This is a good bill and it will go a long way to reduce the damage from these tantrums. Sure, let them do their thing but they should know that they will be held personally responsible for their actions and there will be people recording their activities.

Want to peaceably assemble? Try it - you might find that you get more traction over the other 99.999% of us citizens trying to get on with our lives...

Specifically, the World Health Organization. From Yahoo/Associated Press:

AP Exclusive: Strapped UN health agency spends big on travel
The World Health Organization routinely spends about $200 million a year on travel — far more than what it doles out to fight some of the biggest problems in public health including AIDS, tuberculosis or malaria, according to internal documents obtained by The Associated Press.

As the cash-strapped U.N. health agency pleads for more money to fund its responses to health crises worldwide, it has also been struggling to get its own travel costs under control. Despite introducing new rules to try to curb its expansive travel budget, senior officials have complained internally that U.N. staffers are breaking the rules by booking perks like business class airplane tickets and rooms in five-star hotels.

Last year, WHO spent about $71 million on AIDS and hepatitis. On malaria, it spent $61 million. And to slow tuberculosis, WHO invested $59 million. Still, some health programs do get exceptional funding — the agency spends about $450 million trying to wipe out polio every year.

On a recent trip to Guinea, where WHO director-general Dr. Margaret Chan praised health workers in West Africa for triumphing over Ebola, Chan stayed in the biggest presidential suite at the Palm Camayenne hotel in Conakry. The suite has an advertised price of 900 euros ($1,008) a night.

Typical bureaucratic mind-set. If we don't spend the money, our budget for next year will be cut.

The Seattle mayor's race just got interesting - from The Seattle Times:

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray won’t seek second term: ‘It tears me to pieces to step away’
Mayor Ed Murray ended his campaign for re-election Tuesday — bowing out of a race that not long ago he was expected to win easily, shutting the door on a second term in Seattle’s highest office and aborting a political career that’s spanned decades.

Murray’s decision comes a month after he was sued for alleged child sexual abuse dating to the 1980s and less than a week before the official candidate-filing period begins. The mayor maintains he is innocent and the victim of smears.

“It tears me to pieces to step away,” Murray said in an emotional, sentimental speech at the Alki Beach Bathhouse in the West Seattle neighborhood where he spent part of his youth. “But I believe it is in the best interest of this city that I love.”

Good riddance. It is OK to follow your bliss as an adult but do not mess with kids - it may feel good to you but the long-term damage to them is extreme. Talk about self-centered. Interesting to note that he is still denying the charges - this must mean that there is another charge which has not yet come to light.

The most recent problem with them was the death of Simon, a Continental Giant Rabbit who had been transported to a buyer in America but who died on the flight over. The breeder asked for the body and it turns out that United Airlines had cremated Simon without asking her for permission. From the UK Sun:

WHO PUT BUN IN OVEN? United Airlines under fire again as giant bunny’s breeder slams airline for cremating Simon without her consent
THE breeder of Simon the giant rabbit has slammed United Airlines after they cremated him without her consent.

Annette Edwards, 65, had called for a post-mortem but later learned the ten-month-old’s body had been burned on Friday.

The 3ft bunny froze to death last month after bungling ground staff at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport put him in a chiller by accident.

He had been flown there from Heathrow and was destined for a celebrity owner in Ohio.

Talk about a rotten corporate culture and blind stupidity - the handlers did not care to see that this was a live animal.

They need a President Trump to run things for a while - from the Nepali Times:

Building back unsafe
Gongabu, the neighbourhood where most concrete structures collapsed in Kathmandu in the 2015 earthquake, is back to business as usual: dancers perform in dimly-lit bars, sex workers wait for clients outside, and migrants from the nearby bus terminal stroll on sidewalks.

But a Nepali Times investigation has found that Gongabu is also back to the illegal construction that resulted in so many fatalities here two years ago.

When the 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Central Nepal on 25 April 2015, it was mostly brick and clay buildings that collapsed while the majority of concrete structures stayed intact. However, here in Gongabu it was the multi-storey concrete blocks that pancaked, killing 160 people in this locality alone. Most of them were young migrant workers waiting to fly out, and a few were miraculously rescued after a week.

An expose in this paper in 2015 showed that those buildings had weak foundations and the owners had added extra floors illegally after bribing officials.

The area was a Village Development Committee until December 2014, which meant builders here did not need to follow the 1993 construction code. Now, Gongabu is in the new Tokha Municipality, and there are strict guidelines for concrete structures. But only on paper.

Rope, tree, some assembly required. Time to clean house.

United Airlines in the news

By now, 95% of the internet has heard of the poor Physician who was forced off United Flight 3411 from Chicago to Louisville. The guy is probably going to make some decent pocket change from this as the security people responded with more force than appropriate.

This reminded me of an earlier public relations fail by United Airlines - here is the story from Sentium:

How saving $1,200 cost United Airlines 10,772,839 negative views on YouTube
It is a customer service nightmare. At the same time, it is a good lesson about how social media can impact your business.

Here’s what happened:

A singer/songwriter named Dave Carroll was flying from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Omaha, Nebraska, with a layover at Chicago’s O’Hare airport. As he was getting ready to get off the plane, he heard another passenger say, “My God! They’re throwing guitars out there!”

As Dave and the other band members looked out onto the tarmac where the luggage was being unloaded, they recognized the guitars. Their reaction was a blend of terror and disbelief.

Later he indeed discovered that his $3,500 Taylor guitar’s neck had been broken.

What followed was a customer service nightmare. Dave tried for nine months to get a claim processed with United. The response was a firm and consistent “no.” They claimed he had waited longer than 24 hours to process a claim, so he was out of luck.

He tried phone calls. He tried e-mails. He even went so far as to suggest that instead of money, United give him $1,200 in flight vouchers to cover the cost of repairing the guitar. United held firm. They said “No.”

So, what else could a singer-songwriter do?

That’s right. He wrote a song and produced a music video. The song was titled “United Breaks Guitars.” He put it up on YouTube and it went viral.

The incident happened in 2008. Here are links to the videos: United Breaks GuitarsUnited Breaks Guitars Song 2, and United Breaks Guitars Song 3 as well as this website: UNITED BREAKS GUITARS. There are two iron laws in business. #1) - The Customer is always right - and - #2) - when in doubt, refer to rule number one (with obvious exceptions for customers trying to rip off the business).

The airline would have known about the overbooking before they even started boarding - they should have kept offering more and more money to get someone to stay behind. Now, they have a huge public relations problem and will be on the losing side of a hefty lawsuit.

Dan Rather - circling the drain

This moke just digs himself deeper and deeper - from the Canada Free Press:

Another Dan Rather Scandal
Ever since his forced resignation in disgrace, Dan Rather has continued on a downward spiral. His career, such as it is, has been kept alive by appearances on the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC, where he takes potshots at his former employer and President Donald Trump. It is a sad spectacle.

Rather has now suffered another major embarrassment. The former anchorman of the CBS Evening News has been accused by a website devoted to exposing military corruption of falsely claiming to have been a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

The editor-in-chief of the website www.MilitaryCorruption.com, retired U.S. Army Major Glenn MacDonald, says he stumbled across a published photo of Rather in a dress blue Marine Corps uniform in his book Rather Outspoken and decided to investigate the claim. The photo caption, “as a young Marine,” clearly indicates Rather had been a member in good standing of the Marine Corps.

But the truth, MacDonald says, is that Rather left the Marines before completing boot camp and the photo was obtained under questionable circumstances.

More at the site - this guy has lost all credibility.

From Minnesota's Minneapolis-St. Paul Twin Cities Pioneer Press:

Sen. Tim Kaine’s son arrested: Three cops, pepper spray used in arrest near St. Paul Trump rally
It took three cops and a chemical spray to subdue the youngest son of U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 running mate, Saturday after he was identified as one of the counter-protesters who allegedly used fireworks to disrupt a rally in support of President Donald Trump at the Minnesota State Capitol.

Linwood Michael Kaine, 24, and four others were arrested on suspicion of second-degree riot after the “March 4 Trump” rally in St. Paul; a sixth person was cited for disorderly conduct. Counter-protesters clashed with Trump supporters in the Capitol rotunda after they disrupted the proceedings with air horns, whistles and chants. At one point, someone set off a smoke bomb.

Four months in jail would be a good start. We need to punch back twice as hard or else these mokes will continue to escalate and someone will get seriously hurt.

Say goodbye to The Best Korea

Like we would let them get away with this - from Yahoo/Agence France Presse:

North Korea missiles 'drill for strike on US bases': KCNA
Nuclear-armed North Korea said Tuesday its missile launches were training for a strike on US bases in Japan, as global condemnation of the regime swelled.

Three of the four missiles fired Monday came down provocatively close to US ally Japan, in waters that are part of its exclusive economic zone, representing a challenge to US President Donald Trump.

In separate phone calls, Trump -- whose rhetoric on the campaign trail had raised doubts about the issue -- reaffirmed Washington's "ironclad commitment" to Japan and South Korea.

The US will demonstrate to Pyongyang that there were "very dire consequences" for its actions, the White House said in a statement.

The UN Security Council scheduled an emergency meeting for Wednesday after a request by Washington and Tokyo to discuss additional measures following the launch.

Under UN resolutions, Pyongyang is barred from any use of ballistic missile technology, and the US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, said on Twitter that the world "won't allow" North Korea to continue on its "destructive path".

They try shit like this, they will be squashed like a slow-flying bug on a fast-moving windshield. The only concern is that they have been drilling tunnels into South Korea at an increased rate. My fervent hope is that the South Korean's know where these are (tunneling is not exactly a silent activity and geophones are pretty cheap) and are just waiting until it is time to detonate some charges. More: here, here and here.

The good news is that President Trump and Mad Dog Mattis have responded with a THAAD missle installation in South Korea - from CNN:

Missile defense system that China opposes arrives in South Korea
The first pieces of a US-built missile defense system designed to mitigate the threat of North Korean missiles arrived at the Osan Air Base in South Korea Monday night, according to the US military.

The announcement comes just a day after North Korea test-fired four ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan, also known as the East Sea.

China has voiced opposition to the proposed placement of the military hardware known as the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, which it sees as a threat to its own security.
With North Korea upping the amount of missile and nuclear tests last year, the US and South Korea have publicly stressed the need to speed up the deployment of the technology.

It's designed to shoot down incoming missiles that threaten civilian populations, akin to shooting a bullet with another bullet in simple terms, experts say.

China is funding North Korea so they can go piss in a pot for all I care.

Man spends $50,000 on over 100 procedures to transform into a 'genderless' ALIEN (and he plans to have his genitals, nipples and bellybutton removed next)
A man has spent $50,000 (£40,000) on plastic surgery to become an alien - and could soon have his genitalia removed.

Vinny Ohh, 22, from Los Angeles in California, has had over 110 procedures to transform into a 'genderless' extra-terrestrial.

The make-up artist believes he's neither male nor female and so his extreme look is a way to mirror how he feels inside.

Spending $50K on cosmetic surgery and he is only 22 years old - started at 17. And this little bit of information:

Now he plans to fork out another $160,000 (£130,000) on surgery to have his genitalia, nipples and bellybutton removed.

The perfect Democratic Presidential Candidate - narcissist, no balls, no passion, focused on something 100% irrelevant and spending money like there was no tomorrow. Hits all the bases.

Anyone who would leave tons of trash has to have other character flaws. These regressive morons are not all sunshine and light. From The Washington Free Beacon:

Police Catalogue Brutal Threats DAPL Protestors Made to Officers, Families
Lawyers defending law enforcement officers who were policing protests of the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota compiled nearly 40 pages of violent threats toward officers and their families.

The officers are defending themselves from a lawsuit filed by a group of "water protectors" who say they were subjected to unlawful force during a night of protest in November 2016.

The officers deny that measures they took to control the protests were excessive. They also say they were pushed to use crowd control tools such as water hoses and non-lethal munitions because protesters had threatened violence against them on social media.

"Maybe it is time to show up to the protest armed," says one post included in the document. "Put some fear into police officers and force them to behave themselves."

The threats stated that "cops need to get throats cut," "cops need to die," and "the only good cop is a dead cop." Messages sent directly to officers said that they should "damn well know [they are] getting a bullet in the head" if they show up at the protest site. Many of the posts were accompanied by pictures of firearms and other weapons.

Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier, the chief defendant in the case, told the Washington Free Beacon that the state's intelligence center would investigate the threats and notify him if the senders were in the area. Many of them were, which led Kirchmeier to consider them real threats to his officers.

And it was not just the posts on social media:

The threats were accompanied by actual instances of violence, Kirchmeier said.

"With the threats towards law enforcement and us seeing items thrown at law enforcement such as burning logs, feces, hatchets, knives, spears, fence posts, and Molotov cocktails—it makes the officers go into a mode where they don't know whether they can trust people," the sheriff said.

The sheriff's office pointed to video that it says captures protesters stealing barbed wire from fences to make "razor Frisbees" that could be thrown at officers. Officers also say they had lasers pointed at them during night protests, leading to fears they were being targeted by snipers.

Find these cretins, arrest them and toss them in jail for ten years on felony charges. Make there be a significant cost to this wilding - if they do not, it will escalate to tragedy.

When the reality hits

I hope a lot of these morons serve jail time - six months to a year would be great. Not long enough to be a martyr but enough to make them take notice and think of their actions. From Glen at Instapundit:

Such sweet sweet schadenfreude!

I can not imagine what it must have been like to live in that house. From Breitbart:

Son of Jerry Sandusky arrested on child sex, porn charges
The son of disgraced former Penn State University football coach Jerry Sandusky has been arrested and charged with child sexual solicitation and child porn charges, authorities said Monday.

Jeffrey Sandusky was arrested and charged Monday with several counts, including solicitation of statutory sexual assault, solicitation of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a person less than 16 years old, and solicitation of child pornography.

Sandusky, 41, is one of Jerry Sandusky’s six adopted children.

Good Lord - my prayers go out to the victims. Something like that is not anything you can just sweep under the mental rug and forget about. Castration with a rusty saw blade would be a good place to start... What really gets me is that the initial investigation started last November - you would think that the son would learn from the example made of his father.

About those environmental activists

Why do they always leave such huge piles of trash behind - from The American Mirror:

PHOTOS: Mountains of trash left by ‘environmentalists’ after pipeline protest
People who claim to care about the environment left enough evidence behind at a recent protest site to make others wonder about their sincerity.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall tweeted aerial footage of the Dakota Access protest camp Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota showing fields of trash left after the so-called “environmentalists” abandoned the site.

The footage shows huge front end loaders picking up tents, blankets, refuse, uneaten food, chairs and other items left by activists.

Here is just one photo - the vehicles are from the cleanup crew, everything else is trash that was abandoned when the environmentalists moved on to their next "action"

I find it deeply ironic that the regressive left is labeling Trump as Hitler when the people rioting in the streets are paid flunkies of George Soros and the regressive left. The brown-shirts if you will.

Case in point from Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit:

UC Berkeley Thug Who Beat Conservative and Bragged About It Online – Is University Staff Member!
A UC Berkeley rioter and thug who bragged online about beating conservatives outside the Milo Yiannopoulos speech on Wednesday night — works at the university.

Dabney Miller, a staff member at the UC Berkeley, bragged about how he beat conservatives. He posted images of one man he knocked to the ground and pummeled with his fists before someone pulled him away.

Dabney Miller draws a paycheck from the UC Berkeley administration.

On Wednesday Breitbart senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak at UC Berkeley – the historical home of the free speech movement.

Violent far left rioters and goons shut the talk down.

The progressive thugs started fires, assaulted women, beat Trump supporters unconscious, raided ATMs, shot off fireworks and destroyed private property.

The internet is forever - even if you try to anonymise your presence, there are always crumb-trails to follow. Sounds like a perfect application for 18 U.S.C. 2385 otherwise known as the Smith Act

18 U.S. Code § 2385 - Advocating overthrow of Government - Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

&c......

The real threat of ten years behind bars would shut a lot of these snowflakes up for good.

Soros? Here, herehereherehere, and here for a start.

Looks like he might be in for a wee bit of legal problems. From the Wall Street Journal:

Prosecutors Weigh Child-Pornography Charges Against Anthony Weiner
Federal prosecutors are weighing bringing child-pornography charges against former Rep. Anthony Weiner over sexually explicit exchanges he allegedly had with a 15-year-old girl, according to people familiar with the matter.

Mr. Weiner, a New York Democrat, is being investigated by the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which seized his electronic devices, including a laptop and a cellphone, as part of the probe.

He used to be a rising star until he got caught with his dick in the wrong place. He made a very public apology and then proceeded to get caught again. He will have a lot of fun in prison - I hear that convicts do not like child molesters at all (here and here). Good riddance... Makes me wonder what Huma ever saw in him.

Pyramid scam from 2013-2014 on the East Coast. From the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts:

Agents Seize Approximately $20 Million and Arrest Brazilian National in Scheme to Launder TelexFree Funds
Approximately $20 million in cash hidden inside a box spring in a Westborough, Mass. apartment, was seized late yesterday, and a Brazilian man was arrested in connection with conspiring to launder proceeds of the massive TelexFree pyramid scheme.

Cleber Rene Rizerio Rocha, 28, was charged in a criminal complaint with one count of conspiring to commit money laundering. Rocha was detained following an appearance today before U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Judith G. Dein.

According to the complaint, in April 2014, federal agents searched the headquarters of TelexFree, Inc., in Marlborough, Mass. Later that day, Carlos Wanzeler, one of the founders of the company, allegedly fled to Brazil, his native country, where he has remained. Wanzeler and TelexFree co-founder James Merrill were indicted in July 2014 on charges that they operated TelexFree as a massive pyramid scheme. Merrill pleaded guilty to those charges in October 2016 and is awaiting sentencing.

The complaint alleges that an intermediary working on Wanzeler’s behalf contacted an associate for help transferring millions of dollars of TelexFree money – still hidden in the greater Boston area – from the United States to Brazil. The associate, who subsequently became a cooperating witness for the government, allegedly arranged with Wanzeler’s nephew in Brazil to launder the cash through Hong Kong, convert it to Brazilian reals, and transfer it to Brazilian accounts.

I remember when this was being promoted and could not understand why anyone would buy into such an obvious scam. At least the MagicJack works kinda...

The Boston Globe has a photo of the box spring in question:

George Soros - a closer look

Great article at the always excellent City Journal:

Connoisseur of Chaos
When the dust was cleared and the debris swept away, he stood revealed as Hillary Clinton’s most generous billionaire donor. Yet his name rarely surfaced during the presidential campaign—and that’s generally the way he likes it. Dark Money, Jane Mayer’s book about covert political funding, refers to the Koch brothers more than 300 times in its excoriation of the “radical right” but mentions progressive icon George Soros just six times; three are footnotes.

One of the planet’s richest men, his past marred with crimes and misdemeanors, the 86-year-old billionaire skates on. More than a decade ago, he moved his financial headquarters to Curaçao, a tax-free haven in the Caribbean designed for monied hypocrites who talk one game and play another. The place is not bulletproof; on occasion, Soros has been accused—and even convicted—of insider trading. A French court found him guilty of that crime and levied a fine of $2.3 million. In the parlance of the billionaires’ club, that was small change. Investigative journalists, a dwindling cadre, show little interest in him. They prefer to scrutinize safer, softer targets.

If they took even a cursory look, though, they would see that Soros’s global reach and influence far outstrip those of the Koch brothers or other liberal bogeymen—and that underlying it all is a vision both dystopian and opportunistic. “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order,” Soros has declared, “is the United States.” Ergo, that constitutional republic must be weakened and its allies degraded. The Sorosian world order—one of open borders and global governance, antithetical to the ideals and experience of the West—could then assume command.
George Soros has been an escape artist since his adolescence in Budapest, when Nazi occupiers gave him his first life lessons. Until then, the Schwartz family lived in a large house, located on an island in the Danube. György’s mother, Elizabeth, was the daughter of affluent silk merchants. His father, Tivadar, was a prominent lawyer and eccentric; in good weather, he commuted to his office by rowboat.

Much more at the site - this guy is absolute evil personified - actually no. Just a garden variety sociopath starting from when he was a teenager. Common enough.

Now this is just screaming bonkers - from the Vancouver Sun:

Opinion: Trump's name on tower damages children's health
We are writing to our fellow citizens to address an urgent public-health matter in Vancouver. In a matter of days, the Trump Tower will open.

With the public display of the Trump name, we will be seen as condoning the ridicule of the disabled, and condoning sexism, xenophobia and bigotry.

In spite of a significant effort on the part of our mayor, Gregor Robertson, to have the name Trump removed, it hasn’t been possible.

We are now turning to the public to recognize that the presence of the name under current conditions is a matter of public health that will affect the youngest and most vulnerable in our community. We believe the name represents a socially contagious condition that endangers the health and well-being of our children and youth. At this point this is a matter of public health, not politics.

As physicians we work everyday to address children’s trauma and improve mental health in ways that fosters a healthy social and physical environment regardless of race, gender or developmental ability. This directly conflicts with the prominently displayed Trump name, which serves to promote a prominent and influential role model who openly mocks and humiliates individuals with disabilities, boasts of repeatedly subjecting women to sexual groping of breasts and genitals, refers to immigrant groups as “rapists and murderers” and characterizes religious minorities as “terrorists.”

Is it just me or am I seeing a really strong case of projection. The two authors are  claiming that licensing Trump's name for the tower will be enough to cause problems with the health and well-being of our children and youth. How about that the two authors are a little bit unhinged themselves and are indulging in a nice bout of the vapors over Trump's election and inauguration as the 45th President of the United States. Talk about someone whose elevator does not go to the top floor. And they go on:

We believe that the Trump name displayed on such a prominent building in central Vancouver communicates an acceptance of racism, hatred, sexism, climate-change denial and acceptance of use of nuclear weapons, all of which are critical determinants of the health and future of children and youth. Leaving the Trump name in prominent public view will give open permission and encouragement for others in our community to act similarly and foster similar anti-social beliefs. We have every reason to believe that this powerful symbol will foster hatred inimical to the values of Canada and of Vancouver. We fear that the Trump building will become a symbol of hatred and detract from our efforts to ensure healthy development for all our children.

What a load of codswallop. Utter bilge. I am planning a trip to Ikea in the next couple of weeks to buy a table for my new photo and video computer - might be fun to have lunch at the tower. See what good business management looks like close up. Laugh at any snowflakes.

Another from the London Daily Mail - I find it interesting that these stories are not being covered by our own media.

'I did what any citizen should do': Sworn Trump enemy John McCain admits HE handed smear dossier to FBI - because he had no idea if it was credible
Sworn Donald Trump enemy John McCain admitted Wednesday that he passed the dossier of claims of a Russian blackmail plot against the president-elect - calling it 'what any citizen should do'.

McCain - a longstanding anti-Trump Republican who had disassociated himself from the candidate's campaign weeks before the election - cast himself as an innocent and concerned member of the public as he justified his move.

He claimed he had no idea whether it was accurate or not - but that he believed the FBI should have it because it was 'sensitive'.

'I did what any citizen should do. I received sensitive information and handed it to the FBI,' he told CNN - the network which broke the story that the document existed. It was then published in full by Buzzfeed.

McCain served honorably in the military and was a Prisoner of War and this needs to be recognized. That being said, he is a mendacious odious little maquette of a man. The sooner he is out of office, the better.

Now this is interesting - George Soros

Time to take him down a notch or two - from Bloomberg:

Hungary Plans to Crackdown on All Soros-Funded NGOs
Hungary plans to crack down on non-governmental organizations linked to billionaire George Soros now that Donald Trump will occupy the White House, according to the deputy head of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s party.

The European Union member will use “all the tools at its disposal” to “sweep out” NGOs funded by the Hungarian-born financier, which “serve global capitalists and back political correctness over national governments,” Szilard Nemeth, a vice president of the ruling Fidesz party, told reporters on Tuesday. No one answered the phone at the Open Society Institute in Budapest when Bloomberg News called outside business hours.

Could not happen to a nicer sociopath. The guy is scum.

Coming apart at the seams - Snopes

Snopes touts itself as a neutral fact checking site but it is very biased and very liberal. In fact, they are often wrong.

The couple that runs it is going through a divorce and the husband seems to be a real piece of work. From Breitbart:

Snopes CEO Accused in Divorce Proceedings of Embezzling Company Money to Spend on Prostitutes
The CEO of Snopes.com, the fact-checking website that was recently named as one of Facebook’s “fake news” arbiters, has been accused in divorce proceedings of appropriating company funds which he allegedly spent on expensive holidays and prostitutes.

It was announced last week that Snopes would be helping Facebook to determine and label “fake news” with the help of ABC News and Politifact. The Daily Mail reports that the CEO of Snopes, David Mikkelson, is currently embroiled in a vicious legal battle with his former wife and Snopes co-founder Barbara Mikkelson. The couple divorced sometime around 2014, but legal proceedings have continued between the couple.

Barbara has claimed that her former husband embezzled money from the company. Court documents obtained by the Daily Mail state that Barbara accused David of “raiding the corporate business Bardav bank account for his personal use and attorney fees.” Barbara also claims that David embezzled $98,000 over four years, which “he expended upon himself and the prostitutes he hired.” Barbara claims that David spent $10,000 from their business accounts between April and June of 2016 to fund an expensive 24-day holiday for him and his “girlfriend.”

Heh...

From Bloomberg:

What’s in Ivanka Trump’s Art Collection, and What Is It Worth?
Ivanka Trump’s apartment, which stars in many of her 2,781 Instagram posts, seems to telegraph contemporary good taste. There’s a funky light fixture by designer Lindsey Adelman in the dining room, vintage chairs and a shiny gold coffee table by the Belgian designer Fernand Dresse in the living room, and a custom-made whitewashed driftwood table in the foyer designed by Kelly Behun. The overall aesthetic is that of low-key affluence, the likes of which is found in hundreds of upscale hotels around the globe.

The art in Trump’s apartment is a different matter.

In one post, Trump shimmies in front of a Dan Colen “chewing gum” painting; a comparable work sold for $578,500 at Phillips New York in 2012. In another post, Trump’s child plays the piano in front of a “bullet hole” silkscreen by Nate Lowman; a bullet-hole painting in the same palette sold for $665,000 in 2013 at Sotheby’s in New York. In yet another post, taken from a Harper’s Bazaar shoot, Trump poses at her dining table in front of a work by Alex Israel. A similar painting by Israel sold for $581,000 in 2014 at Phillips New York.

I am sure the artists loved that the Trump checks do not bounce but they want their cake and eat it too:

To that end, the Halt Action Group (HAG), founded by Gingeras, Powers, artist Jonathan Horowitz, and several others, initiated a campaign called “Dear Ivanka.” The group has an Instagram feed in which they repost glossy stock images of Trump along with earnest appeals about what they foresee as the dire consequences of her father's politics—topics addressed include global warming, universal health care, and contraception policy. Hoping to "thwart the normalization of what was unfolding in front of our eyes,” Gingeras said, the group, comprised of artists, dealers, psychoanalysts, and even a few collectors, reached out to the artists featured in Trump’s Instagram feed. They asked the artists to join them and ask Ivanka "to answer for some of the hypocrisy she embodies,” Gingeras said.

Many of the artists contacted by HAG responded forcefully. Underneath a photo of Trump posing in front of a painting by Da Corte, the artist wrote: “Dear @Ivankatrump please get my work off of your walls. I am embarrassed to be seen with you.” Under a different post, Israel wrote: “Please stand with artists and so many people around the world who believe that America means equality for all people.” Lowman and fellow artists Cecily Brown and Rob Pruitt joined a HAG-organized march outside the Puck Building, which is owned by Trump’s husband’s family.

An artist's job is to make people think, not to tell people what to think. They may excel in one field but that doesn't make them experts in everything else. I would like to see one of them run a large enterprise for six months without it falling apart.

I bet this is going to develop into quite the theme running for the next eight years. Premeditated too - from TMZ:

IVANKA TRUMP ACCOSTED BY PASSENGER ON JETBLUE FLIGHT
Ivanka Trump just had a bumpy start to her Xmas holiday ... an out-of-control passenger on her flight began verbally berating her and "jeering" at her 3 kids.

Ivanka was on a JetBlue flight leaving JFK Thursday morning with her family when a passenger started screaming, "Your father is ruining the country." The guy went on, "Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private." The guy had his kid in his arms as he went on the tirade.

A passenger on the flight tells TMZ Ivanka ignored the guy and tried distracting her kids with crayons.

JetBlue personnel escorted the unruly passenger off the flight. As he was removed he screamed, "You're kicking me off for expressing my opinion?!!"

BTW ... Ivanka, her family and bunch of cousins were all in coach.

TMZ subsequently posted these two updates:

8:35 AM PT -- JetBlue just released a statement, saying, "The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."

7:48 AM PT -- The husband of the unruly passenger tweeted an hour before the plane took off, "Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them."

Emphasis mine - this wasn't some emotional shock, this was a premeditated action by this goon.

Our lame duck - an appointment

Barry should have at least a modicum of decency - insted, he does this. From PJ Media:

Obama Appoints Cop Killer Mumia Abu-Jamal’s Attorney to 6-Year Civil Rights Post
In a move that has already sparked a backlash among law enforcement groups, President Barack Obama on Thursday appointed Debo Adegbile, a former attorney for convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, to a six-year post on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. The eight-member commission consists of four members appointed by the president and four appointed by Congress. Unfortunately, the six-year appointments are not subject to Senate confirmation.

That piece of radical and racist scum should not be near any public office. Obama tried to get him in before:

The FBI Agents Association, National Fraternal Order of Police, Major County Sheriff’s Association, National Association of Police Organizations, National Sheriff’s Association, and the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association all came out in fierce opposition to the nomination of Adegbile in 2014.

Adegbile was rejected on a 52-47 vote in the Senate, which Obama called a “travesty based on wildly unfair character attacks against a good and qualified public servant.”

Now on his way out the door, as a final insult to the law enforcement community, Obama has appointed Adegbile to another civil rights post where he will likely be working against them for six long years.

Law enforcement groups and Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) decried the appointment Friday with one police union official calling it a “kick in the teeth to the cops.”

Barry is doing as much as he can in the next couple of weeks to completely destroy his legacy - or so it appears to be. This is just petulance.

Good riddance

From Reuters:

Charleston church gunman found guilty of federal hate crimes
A jury on Thursday found avowed white supremacist Dylann Roof guilty of federal hate crimes resulting in the deaths of nine black parishioners at a historic church in Charleston, South Carolina, last year.

A bit more:

The 12 jurors deliberated for a little less than two hours. Roof showed no emotion as the verdicts were read.

The guilty verdicts on all 33 federal charges he faced pave the way for the penalty phase of Roof's trial, which is set to begin on Jan. 3. He has indicated he will serve as his own lawyer as prosecutors pursue a death sentence.

Less than two hours. I hope he fries.

Poor little Stephanie Land

From the Washington Post:

Trump’s election stole my desire to look for a partner
In August, I went on six dates in one week. I had decided that I was ready to look for a partner. Enough of this dating unavailable men a half-decade younger than me. They’d never seriously consider a relationship with me, my two children and our needy dog. No. I wanted to find an equal. A man who wouldn’t feel the need to step in and rescue me. I didn’t need rescuing.

But I knew deep down that was only partially true. I often felt the sort of loneliness that settled in my stomach, starting from a chaotic afternoon with my children, lasting well into the night when I pulled covers tight around my chin.

Stephanie wanders around her topic a bit and then... The Trumpening:

But two weeks later, the election happened. Once it was clear that Donald Trump would be president instead of Hillary Clinton, I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to gather my children in bed with me and cling to them like we would if thunder and lightning were raging outside, with winds high enough that they power might go out. The world felt that precarious to me.

In her story, she was getting along with one guy when the election happened but she felt that she could not commit to a relationship after President Trump was elected. I hope the poor guy realizes just how close to a disastrous relationship he came. Talk about dodging the bullet. What a narcissist.

From BoingBoing:

The latest generation of chatbot toys listen to your kids 24/7 and send their speech to a military contractor
Last year's Hello Barbie chatbot toy sent all your kid's speech to cloud servers operated by Mattel and its tech partner, but only when your kid held down Barbie's listen button -- new chatbot toys like My Friend Cayla and the i-Que Intelligent Robot are in constant listening mode -- as is your "OK Google" enabled phone, your Alexa-enabled home mic, and your Siri-enabled Ios device -- and everything that is uttered in mic range is transmitted to Nuance, a company that makes text-to-speech tech (you probably know them through their Dragon-branded tools), and contracts to the US military.

In a new FTC complaint filed by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood (CCFC), the Center for Digital Democracy (CDD), and Consumers Union argues that the toys license-agreements and cloud-based listening violate a variety of laws, especially laws protecting children from online data-collection. The way that the manufacturers try to finesse this is really laughable -- as in I snorted aloud when I read it.

We could always get a bunch of these "toys" and play Lenny Bruce monologues over and over and over:

From the Boston Herald:

Newt: ‘Under no circumstance’ should Obama, Biden go to Castro’s funeral
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich asserted yesterday that “under no circumstance” should President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, or Secretary of State John F. Kerry attend Fidel Castro’s funeral and admonished anyone who was honoring the death of former Cuban president.

“Under no circumstance should President Obama or VP Biden or Secstate Kerry go to Cuba for Castro’s funeral,” Gingrich, who serves as an adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, wrote in a Twitter post, adding, “He was a tyrant.”

In an earlier tweet, Gingrich labeled Castro a “relentless dictator who imprisoned thousands (and) killed and tortured many Cubans” and went on to say, “the outpouring of praise for Fidel Castro is tragic ... Build a list of those praising Castro and you will have a list of leftists who reject reality for an ideological fantasy.”

And meanwhile in Miami - from Yahoo / Agence France Presse:

Miami parties a second night over Fidel Castro's death
Neither rain nor fatigue drained the energy of Cuban-Americans in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood who spent a second night celebrating the death of their archenemy Fidel Castro.

The dancing and singing continued into early Sunday, well after crowds first spilled into the streets to celebrate as news of the 90-year-old revolutionary leader's death in Cuba was announced on Friday.

Some two million Cubans live in the United States, nearly 70 percent of them in Florida. The vast majority of those live in Miami.

The revelry went on all day Saturday and continued into the night.

"I'm not tired of celebrating because I can't believe it, I never thought that this moment would arrive," said a woman named Delsy who celebrated with a large crowd outside the Cafe Versailles, where exiles met for decades to plot the overthrow of the Castro regime.

Among the cacophony of car horns, drums, loud music and singing, a chant rang out: "Fidel, you tyrant, take your brother too!"

Good riddance to evil scum. And to all of those braqin-dead ninnies who venerate him.

About time - the New York Times gives his corpse a loving tongue-bath:

Fidel Castro, Cuban Revolutionary Who Defied U.S., Dies at 90
Mr. Castro brought the Cold War to the Western Hemisphere, bedeviled 11 American presidents and briefly pushed the world to the brink of nuclear war.

Like this is a good thing... More:

Fidel Castro, the fiery apostle of revolution who brought the Cold War to the Western Hemisphere in 1959 and then defied the United States for nearly half a century as Cuba’s maximum leader, bedeviling 11 American presidents and briefly pushing the world to the brink of nuclear war, died Friday. He was 90.

His death was announced by Cuban state television.

In declining health for several years, Mr. Castro had orchestrated what he hoped would be the continuation of his Communist revolution, stepping aside in 2006 when he was felled by a serious illness. He provisionally ceded much of his power to his younger brother Raúl, now 85, and two years later formally resigned as president. Raúl Castro, who had fought alongside Fidel Castro from the earliest days of the insurrection and remained minister of defense and his brother’s closest confidant, has ruled Cuba since then, although he has told the Cuban people he intends to resign in 2018.

Why is being revolutionary a good thing? Honest question. Look at the citizens of Cuba and you see grinding poverty while the Castro family is worth well over 900 million USD (here, here, here, here). What are they doing for their citizens - why do so many of them risk life and limb to come here. Why is nobody trying to emigrate to Cuba.

Sure, Batista was corrupt but Castro was also corrupt. Batista encouraged the Miami mobsters to build in Havana during prohibition and everyone made lots of money - Batista, mobsters and citizens. Castro wanted in on this but was not able to get traction until he allied himself with the Soviets who bankrolled his takeover of Cuba. Having a KGB outpost near the USA was too tempting. Castro was just a полезные дураки. A useful fool. In 10 years, the Castro family name will be consigned to the dustbin of history.

From Yahoo News:

Democratic Sen. Boxer plans bill to scrap Electoral College
Outgoing Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., plans to introduce legislation on Tuesday to eliminate the Electoral College and to award the presidency to the candidate with the greater share of the popular vote, in direct response to President-elect Donald Trump’s historic victory.

“This is the only office in the land where you can get more votes and still lose the presidency,” Boxer said in a statement. “The Electoral College is an outdated, undemocratic system that does not reflect our modern society, and it needs to change immediately. Every American should be guaranteed that their vote counts.”

Good riddance - you may remember Boxer from her comment to Brigadier General Michael Walsh in 2009:

"I've worked so hard to get that title"

Glad she is retiring - not a moment too soon.

Talk about a dumb move - from Milwaukee, Wi Journal Sentinel:

Man arrested after berating Sheriff Clarke on flight
A Milwaukee man was arrested and charged with intoxication and disruptive behavior on Saturday after berating Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. throughout a two-hour flight from Milwaukee to Charlotte, N.C.

Keith Trietley, a spokesman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, confirmed that Preston Bluntson, 36, was arrested and booked by police at around 7:10 p.m. Eastern time. He was being held late Saturday in the Mecklenburg County Jail. Trietley said a police report on the incident was not yet available.

A bit more - from an unnamed passenger:

“The guy was very abusive,” the passenger said. "Probably the last 20 minutes it really escalated and focused on Clarke."

According to the passenger, Bluntson, who is African-American, repeatedly used a racial epithet, accused Clarke of “closing our parks” and said the sheriff is “not one of us.”

A number of people tried unsuccessfully to engage Bluntson — who appeared to be drinking throughout the flight — and to get him to calm down but without success, the passenger said. He added that Clarke responded only once, telling the man to “shut up.”

“In all my years flying, I’ve never seen anything like it,” the passenger said.

Oh yeah - Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. is an ardent Donald Trump supporter. Shows how classy and polite the liberals are.

Black Lives Matter and George Soros

The whole Black Lives Matter movement is founded on so many lies it is pathetic. Recent events in Charlotte, North Caroline show this to be evident.

Their narrative? Keith Scott was shot by cops during a traffic stop. Keith was holding a book in his hand and was unarmed.

The truth: Keith had a police record. The cops were looking for someone who committed a robbery. Keith got out of his car holding a gun in his hand and would not drop it when the Police Officer  asked him to. The Police Officer then fired in self-defense. The Police Officer was black.

Now, the city of Charlotte has been besieged by riots for the last couple of evenings. A bit more truth from Zero Hedge:

Who Is Behind The Riots? Charlotte Police Says 70% Of Arrested Protesters Had Out Of State IDs
Confirming what many had suspected when viewing the sudden and intense collapse into anrchy that occurred in Charlotte this week, Todd Walther, spokesman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police told CNN's Erin Burnett:

"This is not Charlotte that's out here. These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protesters, these are criminals."

"We've got the instigators that are coming in from the outside. They were coming in on buses from out of state. If you go back and look at some of the arrests that were made last night. I can about say probably 70% of those had out-of-state IDs. They're not coming from Charlotte."

As shocking as this statement is, it should not be a total surprise. 18 months ago, as the riots flared in Ferguson, there was one man pulling the strings of this 'domestic false flag'... George Soros. In an apparent effort to  "keep the media’s attention on the city and to widen the scope of the incident to focus on interrelated causes — not just the overpolicing and racial discrimination narratives that were highlighted by the news media in August," liberal billionaire George Soros donated $33million to social justice organizations which helped turn events in Ferguson from a local protest into a national flashpoint.

More on Soros' philanthropy at The Gateway Pundit:

Leaked George Soros Memo: $650,000 to Black Lives Matter – Here’s a Partial List
On Saturday the mysterious DC Leaks website posted hacked documents from George Soros’s Open Society.

The documents included information on operations in Latin America, Eurasia, Asia, the US, Europe and the World Bank.

One document revealed Soros paid $650,000 to the Black Lives Matter domestic terrorist movement.

His sociopathy was evident even in childhood - here is a transcript of an interview he did with Steve Croft at 60 minutes on December 20, 1998:

  • KROFT: You're a Hungarian Jew…
  • Mr. SOROS: Mm-hmm.
  • KROFT: …who escaped the Holocaust…
  • Mr. SOROS: Mm-hmm.
  • KROFT: …by–by posing as a Christian.
  • Mr. SOROS: Right.
  • KROFT: And you watched lots of people get shipped off to the death camps.
  • Mr. SOROS: Right. I was 14 years old. And I would say that that's when my character was made.
  • KROFT: In what way?
  • Mr. SOROS: That one should think ahead. One should understand and–and anticipate events and when–when one is threatened. It was a tremendous threat of evil. I mean, it was a–a very personal experience of evil.
  • KROFT: My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson.
  • Mr. SOROS: Yes. Yes.
  • KROFT: Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews.
  • Mr. SOROS: Yes. That's right. Yes.
  • KROFT: I mean, that's–that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?
  • Mr. SOROS: Not–not at all. Not at all. Maybe as a child you don't–you don't see the connection. But it was–it created no–no problem at all.
  • KROFT: No feeling of guilt?
  • Mr. SOROS: No.
  • KROFT: For example that, 'I'm Jewish and here I am, watching these people go. I could just as easily be there. I should be there.' None of that?
  • Mr. SOROS: Well, of course I c–I could be on the other side or I could be the one from whom the thing is being taken away. But there was no sense that I shouldn't be there, because that was–well, actually, in a funny way, it's just like in markets–that if I weren't there–of course, I wasn't doing it, but somebody else would–would–would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the–whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the–I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt.

And this is the man who is funding all Progressives, funding Hillary and funding all of the Social Justice Warriors, all of Black Lives Matter. This is not justice - these poor deluded fools rioting in the streets have been bought and paid for by the sickest of the 0.01% that anyone can imagine.

From The Conservative Treehouse:

Utah – Hispanic Activist Who Criticized Trump’s Mexican Rapist Comments Arrested for Raping Illegal Immigrant…
Well, this story is so brutally ironic it will not fit in the Irony folder. You just cannot make this stuff up folks…

You might remember a Hispanic political activist named Tony Yapias, who was extremely critical of Donald Trump’s assertion that some illegal Mexican aliens were rapists.

Tony Yapias is the director of ‘Proyecto Latino de Utah’. Mr. Yapias also coordinated numerous protest events against Donald Trump including a rather violent display in Salt Lake City, Utah. – SEE HERE

This week Tony Yapias has been arrested for rape.   However, not only was Yapias arrested for rape – his victim was, …wait for it…, yep, an illegal alien.

A bit more:

However, as Fox13 in Salt Lake City reports:

[…] Despite the woman’s fears concerning immigration issues, court documents state, she reported the assault the day after it happened. She was also examined by a forensic nurse who found she had multiple physical injuries consistent with her explanation of what happened.

Rope, tree, some assembly required. Hypocrites like this should be ignored by the media. Shunned. Talk about a loser.

Obama's legacy...

In no special order:

Latinos - from the Washington Examiner:

Latino activists: Obama 'completely failed us'
When President Obama leaves office in January, among the angriest of core constituencies who wished the president accomplished more in his eight years will most likely be Latinos for his failure to deliver comprehensive immigration reform.

"He completely failed us in 2008, and he failed us in 2012," the Center for Community Change Action's Kica Matos said about Obama's campaign promises to overhaul the immigration laws and offer a path to citizenship for the nation's 11 million illegal immigrants.

Blacks - from Politico:

Did Obama Fail Black America?
On January 20, 2009, when Barack Obama assumed the presidency, the overwhelming majority of African-Americans cheered and prayed for him. His inauguration was a signal moment in black history, reminiscent of the celebrations that accompanied the Emancipation Proclamation, Joe Louis’ victory over Max Schmeling and the March on Washington. Irma Brown-Williams traveled to the inauguration from Tuskegee, Alabama, wearing a coat on which she had pinned photos of her mother, father and siblings, all of whom were deceased. Asked to explain, she said, “I’m here for them. … They could not be here, so I brought them with me.” Against the backdrop of such exhilaration and triumphalism, an emotional downturn was inescapable. It has come to pass. For many, the passion has cooled. For some, the thrill is gone.

Healthcare - from Time:

Aetna Has Revealed Obamacare’s Many Broken Promises
They’re dropping like flies.

The health-insurance giant Aetna has announced it will exit 11 of the 15 health-insurance exchanges where it sells Obamacare plans. Aetna’s announcement comes on the heels of news that UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, and Texas’ Scott and White Health Plan, and 70% of Obamacare’s failed Co-Ops, and other insurers will exit many or all of the exchanges for which they had previously shown such enthusiasm.

The ongoing and nationwide exodus of insurers is just the latest piece of evidence that Obamacare is a failed law built on false promises.

The Economy - from Yahoo Finance:

The Fed may be preparing for the unthinkable — negative interest rates in America
Negative interest rates are spreading like a virus. Central banks in the Eurozone, Switzerland, Sweden, and Japan all have below-zero policy rates. “NIRP,” as economists call a negative interest rate policy, is a desperation move—but the only move those central banks have.

The Federal Reserve hasn’t followed—yet. When the next recession strikes, I believe Janet Yellen will choose to break the zero lower bound. The rationale was laid out in Jackson Hole. Look behind the headlines and you’ll see the Fed already preparing for NIRP.

Our Foreign Policy - come on now. Hillary and John F. Kerry?

I could keep going. Jimmy Carter is looking pretty Presidential right about now.
