Back to whatever passes for normal around here

Came home after a day in town - two pints of cider at my local and driving home, saw the outside lights in their effulgent glory. Yay!

Dropped three boxes of books to the bookstore and have two bags of trash for the shop dumpster. Progress is being made. I am holding off on getting the eBay computer set up at the condo as I know myself too well and performance will take a hit when there is a blogging machine available... While I was in town, I finally stopped by the local Makerspace - they didn't have much the few times I had been by earlier. Now starting to be worth the membership. Been looking at using a Laser and now they have a nice one.

Got a nice bottle of red open and having a glass or two while checking email and surfing for a bit. Another meeting on Monday for Emergency Communications stuff. Learning this is a lot of fun and a useful skill to have - at yesterdays WECG meeting four people demonstrated their bug-out radio kits including one using a Windows tablet that can send digital messages (emails and attachments) and it fit into a small pouch. Maybe 1/3 cubic foot. Commercial off-the-shelf too so cheap to put together. Fun time to be alive and I plan to keep it that way...
