The forecast high winds hit the Olympic Penninsula and points South. Trees down in Seattle and the Hood Canal bridge closed to high winds. From Seattle station KIRO:
47,000 customers without power as wind advisory in effect for lowlands
A wind advisory is in effect for all the Puget Sound lowland locations and the north and central coast with potential wind gusts over 40 mph.
Sustained wind speeds are expected to be between 20 and 30 mph with the peak period on Tuesday afternoon.
A high wind warning is in effect for Pacific County for even stronger wind gusts.
So far, we have just had bursts of intense rainfall with some gusting up to 30MPH
