Got the little one this morning and now this - from Canada's CBC News:
5.2 magnitude earthquake detected off Vancouver Island
A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the west coast of Vancouver Island, near Port Hardy, Friday around 3:38 p.m. PT.
Earthquake Canada says the earthquake was not felt, and no tsunami was expected.
It struck in the Explorer plate in the north end of the Cascadia subduction zone. The Cascadia subduction zone is the one that is overdue for a large quake. A lot of radio operators are participating in a program called Cascadia Rising this June to test our communications in a time of disaster.
