When the HVAC guy was fixing my furnace, he delivered the invoice on a very slick application for his tablet. I asked and he spent a few minutes showing me some of the features - pretty amazing. It stores the customer data in a cloud and when the home office enters a service ticket, the tech can call it up on their tablet or phone (both apple and Android). Need directions? There's a map function with GPS. Payment through a card reader, all sorts of scheduling options, inventory, job quotes, etc.. This puppy is deep!!!
It costs from $10 to $40/month per user depending on the features you use. There is also an initial setup fee to enter the data into the database.
