Had about 70 people attending - it was a Jesus Fest with speakers as well as various community booths. Some good speakers and one dull one. Got hot-dogs and chips for lunch. Had a couple people show more than a passing interest in ham radio as well as the BERT literature so the day was a success. Our local fire chief brought the tanker down for the kids to play on. Every so often, he would fire it up so they could hit the horn (loud) and the siren (even louder).
Good people and a tight community.
There was a guy selling local produce so picked up a big bunch of rainbow chard and will have the last bit of Feijoada for dinner tonight - it is traditionally served with rice and a sauteed green so the chard will be perfect.
