Bought something from Amazon, got it home and unboxed and it turns out to be an International Edition (gray market) with no US Warranty. Japanese owners manual. I am also suspecting that it was a re-pack as the item was just stuffed into a bag in the box and there was no protective film on the LCD display.
Emailing the vendor and will see what happens...
