I hand fed her a couple of pieces of the meat and put the rest at the bottom of her bowl and filled it with kibble - she tucked in to it like it was pure ambrosia, came over and licked me after. Do not know if she is still hungry and testing to see what I taste like or if it is a very big thank you. I'll go with the thank you.
Surf for a bit, read through some of the Tesla papers and then an early bedtime.
There is an international drill for Earthquakes happening on the 20th of October - the Great Shakeout. Our county is participating as part of the Washington State Shakeout and I signed up to participate. I will be in Bellingham for the drill - nobody in East County is doing anything that I know of. Maybe I can bring it out here next year. Anyway, we have intensive training on this coming Monday and Tuesday. I have already been through some of the classes but the people doing the training are awesome instructors and a refresher is always a great help - this is supposed to simulate stress so the better we are prepared, the better we can cope. Got a major First Aid class coming up on October 16th too. Busy month!
