First - a bit of irony from the London Daily Mail:
Now Mexico wants to build a border wall with Central America to keep out illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala
It seems Mexico agrees with Donald Trump's plans to build a wall to keep out illegal immigrants - but only on its southern border with Central America.
Mexicans are calling for the border wall to keep out Guatemalans, Salvadorans and Hondurans fleeing violence in their own countries.
They complain 'hordes' of immigrants pass through on their way to the United States -who are then simply deported back to Mexico rather than their home countries by the US.
Second - a quarter million more from the UK Telegraph:
Some 235,000 migrants ready to cross Mediterranean to Italy before winter, warns UN envoy
At least 235,000 migrants and refugees are on the coast of Libya waiting to cross the Mediterranean to Italy, a United Nations official has warned.
"We have on our lists 235,000 migrants who are just waiting for a good opportunity to depart for Italy, and they will do it," said Martin Kobler, the head of a UN mission that is seeking to bring peace and stability to the North African country, which is divided by rival governments, militias and Islamic State.
Third - and the ones already in EU - from the Wall Street Journal:
Germany’s Efforts to Integrate Migrants Into Its Workforce Falter
As the flow of asylum seekers entering Germany started to break historic records last fall, Continental AG rushed to tap some of the newcomers for its workforce.
But one year after the tire maker began advertising an internship program designed for 50 migrant workers, only 30 of the positions have been filled as it struggles to find suitable candidates or vet their qualifications.
Big mistake - the Saudi's should be stepping up to the plate and rescuing their bretheren. Oh. Wait. Muslims are divided into 50-gazillion different tribes and sects and they all hate each other. How about advancing the course of civilization over there - the Saudi's could certainly spend some of their oil money for that.
