The new windshield looks great.
The trip was uneventful - got a Costco chicken for dinner tonight and Lulu had a pot of rice cooking when I got home.
Only problem was a driver that proceeded to do 20 miles at 40MPH, then 55MPH (the speed limit), then 30MPH, then 45MPH. Of course, when they hit a straightaway, they sped up to 55-65MPH and there was enough oncoming traffic that nobody could pass. There were a good dozen cars stacked up. They finally peeled off at the last roundabout three miles from my town. I was halfway tempted to follow them home and strangle them for the good of all humanity but I had already wasted enough time today. And yes, they were breaking the law - specifically:
RCW 46.61.427
Slow-moving vehicle to pull off roadway.
On a two-lane highway where passing is unsafe because of traffic in the opposite direction or other conditions, a slow moving vehicle, behind which five or more vehicles are formed in a line, shall turn off the roadway wherever sufficient area for a safe turn-out exists, in order to permit the vehicles following to proceed. As used in this section a slow moving vehicle is one which is proceeding at a rate of speed less than the normal flow of traffic at the particular time and place.
