I did two steaks for the three of us - Lulu and I shared and Jimmy hoovered down a whole one himself. Growing boy. The peppercorn sauce came out perfect - a wee bit too runny but nothing I would complain about. Flavor was spot on just needed to have the stock a little more concentrated. I will try adding a pinch of unflavored gelatin next time - add some mouthfeel and unctuousness.
We watched the last show of Season Two and the first show of Season Three of Person of Interest - the writing keeps getting better and better - the producer and writers realize that there are watchers out there who can follow three or four plotlines and see how they interweave. The technology is spot on for the time and the code on the screens is not just another iteration of Nmap or some random scrolling source code - the screens are actually doing what the plot is saying they are doing.
