I had posted about the abysmal opening of the new anti-gun movie Miss Sloan - turns out it is a real stinker. From The Washington Free Beacon:
Gun Control Thriller ‘Miss Sloane’ Has One of the Worst Opening Weekends Ever
Miss Sloane, the gun control thriller starring Jessica Chastain, over the weekend posted one of the worst performances of the past 35 years for a movie in wide release.

Miss Sloane‘s story follows a lobbyist, played by Chastain, who joins a firm working with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence to get new federal gun control measures passed despite opposition from the “gun lobby.” The movie has garnered mixed reviews, with praise for Chastain’s performance despite complaints that the plot is too unrealistic.
The Brady Campaign is a political hack organization - the stuff they say is outright misinformation. They are the people who coined the term "assault rifle" when there is no such thing. More:
Brendan Kelly, press secretary for the Brady Campaign, said the group’s work on Miss Sloane represents a new frontier in its work to influence Hollywood on gun issues.
Good - after promoting this turd, I hope Hollywood runs the other way when the Brady bunch come knocking at their door.
