Senator Pelosi gets punkd with fake tweet

This is delightful - first the New York Times publishes some fake news. From Newsbusters:

Fake News: NY Times Journalist Touts Bogus Mike Flynn Twitter Account
In another round of fake news, the New York Times on Tuesday quoted from a bogus Twitter account purporting to be from Mike Flynn, the general who resigned on Monday night as National Security Adviser. In an article, the Times used a quote from “@GenMikeFlynn” asserting, “But if a scapegoat is what's needed for this Administration to continue to take this great nation forward, I am proud to do my duty.”

This is a fake quote from a fake Twitter account. Appearing on CBS This MorningTimes journalist David Sanger pushed the tweet: “[Flynn] said himself in a Tweet this morning, that while he was responsible, there are others who are responsible, too.”

And Senator Blinky fell for it in front of the television cameras. From Gateway Pundit:

VIDEO: Crazy Nancy Pelosi Falls For FAKE Mike Flynn Tweet
On Tuesday the New York Times circulated fake news by reporting a tweet from a fake twitter account claiming to by Michael Flynn.

And today:

Nancy Pelosi fell for the fake tweet when she quoted it at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

These idiots are beclowning themselves left and right. Fun to watch - just wish these were not our elected representatives. Term limits would be a wonderful idea to knock the dumb ones out of office. 12 years is enough.
