Done some stuff at home and heading out for coffee and stop in at the store. Got another 0.17 inches of rain last night for a total of half and inch over the last 48 hours. Got this update to our Special Weather Statement at 4:00AM this morning:
...UNSEASONABLY COLD AND UNSETTLED CONDITIONS IN THE MOUNTAINSTHROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK...
Those venturing into the mountains or traveling through the higher
passes should plan for possible wintry conditions this weekend
into early next week. The main snow level will be around 3500 4000
feet but may fluctuate with heavier showers. Total snow
accumulation today through Sunday could be up to 7 to 9 inches.
An occluded front will arrive on Monday, followed by a cold upper
level low on Tuesday. These systems could bring more significant
precipitation to the mountains. Those planning activities or
travel through the mountains should monitor forecasts closely over
the next several days.
Just wonderful - anyone want to move to Arizona?
