Didn't start heating up until around 2:00PM or so so most of the day was very pleasent.
Show went well despite the guy who founded it not being there - his first year away from the event and the local Lions Club did a bang-up job organizing and running it. The scope of my work was much larger as I awarded the prizes as well as announcing the raffle. Kind of fun trying to read people's handwriting for names - botched a few but everyone was having a good time and we all laughed together.
T and her daughter were delayed in traffic but came in later in the afternoon - worked out well as they got a chance to see all the cars and watch me work. This is turning into a very wonderful relationship. We met in Seattle about 30 years ago, got to know each other pretty well and then lost touch when my ex and I moved up here. So glad that we reconnected at this stage in our lives.
More later tonight - they are coming over to the farm so I need to get rid of the most egregious clutter and prep for dinner - I am heading down to Seattle tomorrow afternoon for a few nights.
