Had 70 people come through the door but many of them went through the line more than once and some of them took servings to go. Hunger is a big problem in this part of the county so it was good to be able to help out. Made about nine gallons of sauce, fifteen dry pounds of pasta, ten gallons of lemonade, ten pounds of salad and fifteen loaves of garlic bread. Served a lot of food.
Nice publicity for the store as not everyone knew about us. Spent some time explaining where it was (no, it is not the convenience store owned by the Koreans) and what all we carried. Now is the slow season until Mt. Baker opens for skiing so the more people coming through our doors, the merrier.
Surf for a bit and then to bed - sleep in tomorrow...
