Got the copy machine in the van and will unload it tomorrow after the drill. Up early for the drill - bringing my portable ham station in case there is a curve-ball pitched our way. Like I cannot get into the firehall or there is a sign on the radio saying that it is out of order. Realistic drills do sh*t like that from time to time.
Printing out a bunch of ICS forms to use tomorrow. After the drill, I unload the copy machine. Should be straightforward as there are five steps going up from the ground to the door I am coming through so the ramp will be almost level. Stopped at Home Despot on the way home and picked up a sheet of tempered hardboard (Masonite) so that will make the machine roll smoothly. What is it about copy machines that they all have these dinky cheap and tiny casters on them. They roll fine on a bowling alley but any real-world surface - carpet or tile - they hang up and are a bear to move. If I designed a machine like this, I would put 6" ball-bearing balloon tires on them.
