Still unraveling - Cesar Sayoc

Made two predictions on the 24th - one that the goblin sending the fake bombs would be arrested and second that they would be a member of the democratic party. Things just got interesting...

From the Miami CBS affiliate:

Fingerprint Led FBI To Package Bomb Suspect Cesar Sayoc
Federal authorities have arrested a man in Plantation in connection to a series of package bombs that were sent to top Democrats and President Trump critics.

A bit more:

The FBI “uncovered a latent fingerprint from one of the envelopes containing an IED that had been sent to Maxine Waters. We have confirmed this fingerprint is that of Cesar Sayoc,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray at a news conference Friday afternoon.

They were able to identify him because he had served time for multiple felonies so his prints were on record.

The media is identifying him as a registered republican which is odd because after committing a felony, his name would be stripped from the voter registration rolls. Convicted felons lose their rights to vote, to own a gun, etc... The media is also showing his van which is plastered with pro-Trump stickers. A couple of things stick out:

From his Facebook page:

And the van in question:

Two things come to mind here:

#1) - President Trump has been in office for two years now. Those stickers look really new and fresh. and

#2) - the stickers completely cover the passenger's side window. Cesar would have been pulled over immediately for this infraction. Very illegal.

Very glad that they got him - great police work. Jury is still out over him being a Republican.
