The Snow Goose festival was a lot of fun. They had a couple people from the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center and they brought four birds of prey to show and tell. Great Horned Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Turkey Vulture (who was just the sweetest dear you could imagine - buckets of personality) and a Golden Eagle - huge bird. I mean HUGE!
The festival combined a bunch of exhibits from various Audubon groups and a bunch of plant and habitat groups as well as about 15 artists working in different media all featuring birds and wildlife. A fun time. There is a photography clinic tomorrow morning that I am planning to attend.
Went out to the food coop for groceries and had dinner and am now in for the evening.
