I had been looking forward to checking out the United States Web Design System. It is very good. Very very good.
- - - BUT - - -
It is beyond my scope. It would be perfect for a city webpage. Or that of a large company or group. For a single-purpose website, a small business page, etc... Sheer overkill.
Requires a SQL Server - not a big deal as I have set up many databases. This blog is powered by a SQL Server. For a dozen static pages? Much more than what I need. Looking at alternatives for simple HTML editing. Always looking for something new.
Open Source Web Design is a great place to start for basic templates. I had been using CoffeeCup and will probably continue using it.
