Kamala Harris cuts staff, restructures campaign as funds begin to dwindle
Sen. Kamala Harris is restructuring her presidential campaign by redeploying staffers to Iowa and laying off dozens of aides at her Baltimore headquarters as she fights to revive her struggling 2020 bid, according to a new report.
The moves come as Harris is running low on cash and in danger of lacking the resources to mount a competitive bid against rivals with bigger war chests in the Hawkeye State.
It will be interesting to see if she retains her seat in 2022 - she was elected in 2016 for a six year term.
