13-year-old charged with murder escaped from Robeson courthouse wearing leg restraints, no shoes
Officials are searching for a boy who escaped from Robeson County Juvenile Court on Tuesday afternoon.

The 13-year-old, who was appearing in court for two counts of first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon charges, escaped around noon, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

He was last seen in the intersection of North Carolina Highway 72 and Country Club Road in Lumberton wearing a white T-shirt, beige pants and leg restraints without any shoes.

Some forms of birth control need to be retroactive.
