L and I went to a fundraising event at the historic Lincoln Theater in Mt. Vernon, WA - gorgeous old venue. Tonight's event was a fundraiser for a legal group and a housing group for actual refugees trying to immigrate legally. They had some kids doing traditional Mexican dances and a set by a favorite local guitarist Nick Vigarino. Unfortunately, the theater, which usually has great acoustics, was not behaving and the sound was really muddled and unintelligible. We bailed.
Spending tomorrow working on a couple projects and then L is coming over and we are going to a dance event - hopefully a lot better acoustics for this one...
