Forgot to get some stuff from Home Depot yesterday so did a quick run up there this morning. Delayed the start of my work (also did coffee, post office and a large dump run) but I worked through and finished a while ago.
The house is utter chaos but it is the chaos of several major remodeling projects and not just the chaos of clutter.
L came by this afternoon and we hung out together for a while - she loaned me a book that is out of print and brought me a pastry for a mid-afternoon treat. She is a keeper... Hard to believe that we have only known each other for less than two months - feels like years (in a very good sense).
The contractor is coming bright and early tomorrow to hang the drywall. I will be priming with one of the new PVA Primers (vapor tight) and using an ultra-low VOC paint. Getting the house buttoned up.
Surf for a bit. Hot shower first (was doing fiberglass insulation) and brew a pot of tea.
