The event that we were planning to attend was called on account of the windstorm. It has been doing 15 average with gusts to 37MPH. Due to my location, this is pretty intense as the wind comes from the South and my house is shielded by a large hill. I would hate to live on the top - talk about exposed.
We saw some lightening on our way back to the island. Either that or a substation blew up.
L's power is out at her place and I just went out a few minutes ago - got candles lit. Get the generator going if it is not back on tomorrow morning - keep the freezer frozen.
