As things get interesting - Democrat primaries

Quid pro Joe is having some trouble. From the New York Post:

Joe Biden bolts New Hampshire early for South Carolina
Staring at a fourth- or even fifth-place finish in Tuesday’s first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary, Joe Biden is bolting from the Granite State to spend primary night in South Carolina, his campaign confirmed Tuesday.

The 77-year-old is ditching his own primary night party and will instead address New Hampshire supporters via video link from Columbia, SC, where he will host a launch party with his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, as the polls close Tuesday night.

Biden is rapidly shedding support, with a new Quinnipiac poll released Monday putting Bernie Sanders in a commanding national lead and showing half of Biden’s black supporters have abandoned him.

The former vice president suffered a humiliating fourth-place finish in Iowa that he described as a “gut punch,” and has also tried to reduce expectations in New Hampshire, starting the debate Friday night by saying he expects to lose.

The former vice president, whose campaign has been plagued by gaffes and missteps, will be hoping to shore up support in South Carolina ahead of the state’s Feb. 29 primary.

Wanna bet that there are some resurrectionists in the party who are prepping Hillary for another run at the brass ring? After all, it is her turn dammit.

Surprised in some sense that they are even trying - if I were the DNC Chair, I would have just called it quits for 2020  months ago, saved the campaign contributions and planned to spend the next four years coming up with a solid platform that is relevant to the general public - us "normals". We. The. People.

As it stands now, the Dems have nothing to offer.
