Moving from self-isolation to outright quarantine

Gov. Abbott Seals Texas-Louisiana Border
On Sunday, Gov. Greg Abbott ordered that travel be restricted between Texas and Louisiana.

The order, which went into effect midnight, did not give Texans much time to stock up on boudin balls or Western Lousianans to sneak in a quick supply run to Houston.

Abbott’s original order restricted air travel to New Orleans and New York, requiring travelers to self-quarantine for 14 days. The new order covers vehicle travel if not for “essential activities.”

Good move - New Orleans "Katrina'd" themselves again and kept Mardi Gras running with no restrictions - they ignored the warnings. They are now paying the price and Governor Abbott has no desire to spread the love. A very wise call.
