Methylene blue is another common critter medicine - very strong anti-fungal. I have a bottle of it in my critter box. I used to get athlete's foot at the farm every other year or so - muddy ground with critters roaming around. An aerosol spritz or two of methylene blue would knock it out. It would also stain the soles of my feet a brilliant navy blue and trash any socks I was wearing but, it works. From the French website: Guérir du Cancer (Cancer cures):

Abstract
We report the case of a cohort of 2500 French patients treated among others with methylene blue for cancer care. During the COVID-19 epidemics none of them developed influenza-like illness. Albeit this lack of infection might be by chance alone, it is possible that methylene blue might have a preventive effect for COVID-19 infection. This is in line with the antiviral activity of Chloroquine, a Methylene blue derivative.
Both Chloroquine and Methylene blue have strong antiviral and anti- inflammatory properties probably linked to the change in intracellular pH and redox state.
Very interesting and I did not know that the two chemicals were related. It was a doctor observing Lupus patients that got people interested in Chloroquine as a potential treatment for COVID - of all the people showing up at the hospital, none of the lupus patients had COVID-19.
