Details are a bit light on the ground but the sensor has been out for a couple of years - developed for consumer camcorders. 4K video at 60 frames per second or 1080p at 120 frames per second. The C-Mount system was developed for closed circuit video cameras and is pretty universal. You can get cheap adapters to convert from C to most common cameras. Available at the usual Pi dealers for $50.
Looks like the basis for some fun projects...
