Did a quick run to Bellingham to the condo and to Hardware Sales. Back home now - nice warm day. High clouds have moved in but it is 83°F outside. Finally getting some warm weather - felt like a long long spring. Winter's tentacles just did not want to let go. Windows open and house airing out.
Working in the garage this weekend - Plan Q. Revision #47 - setting up the electronics and ham radio equipment in there instead of in the loft. I have enough going on in the loft (desk and media computer) and do not want to clutter it further. This is where the TV is and is sort of a relaxation area.
Since I am building the shop later this year, I will use the garage as a basic wood and metal shop and include the technology - electronics, programming and ham radio. This puts the ham radio equipment very close to their antennas (a few feet on the other side of the wall - closer is better) and puts a lot of like-minded equipment together. Many times while making something with electronics, I will need to drill or cut some plastic or metal. This way, everything is just a few feet away from each other. Going to be nice when done.
Also planning to start work removing the lawn and planting the veggies and flowers. Get something interesting going instead of just green weeds that need to be maintained.
Got some smoked pulled pork thawing out for dinner - stopped by and picked up some fresh tacos. Freeze the rest of them.
