Where I live is about four miles from the county border. My favorite barber has his shop in the next county and it is still locked down. I was overdue for a cut when the lockdown first happened so I was pretty shaggy until this afternoon.
Island County has reopened and saw that a local salon was open and that they did Men's Haircuts - got a nice one today. Feels a lot better. It is right next to the complex where I get my coffee and mail so keeping things very local.
Was at Costco and meat prices are skyrocketing - flank steak is now almost $14/pound - it was about $8 just a month or two ago. Pork has doubled. Costco has signs apologizing and saying that they are keeping their margins constant and that prices will drop when supply increases but... right...
Feeling downright nappish - making a pot of black tea.
