Parrish lived in New Hampshire - I had visited his home and studio several times when I lived in Boston. My parents retired to New Hampshire for ten years before moving to Seattle.
Out of curiosity, I looked and his home, studio and property just went on the market: The Oaks - the asking price is $799,000 for 45.67 Acres • Main House, Studio & Guest House • 15,534 SF. That is a steal in anyone's book. If I did not love it here so much, I would get this place in a heartbeat. Perfect for an Air B&B and blacksmith shop. Parrish's hobby was machining so I would be carrying on the spirit of the land.
