Gravid

Did the grocery deliveries - one of the houses was in a very old small settlement off the beaten track. Wonderful smaller older cottages from the 1900's - people's vacation homes. Not on the water but very close and there was a large yacht club nearby so they would have kept their boats there. Even though I have been here for two years, I am still discovering fascinating places and bits of history.

Visited the main farmer's market - know a lot of the vendors so always fun to visit and shop. Had dinner at a local restaurant and now back home again.

Was in the 60's most of today but spiked up to almost 80 and very high humidity. Cooling off a bit - 72°F outside right now but really really really feels like rain. Do not see any thunderheads but would not be surprised to if a t-storm happened tonight. 80% chance of precip forecast for tomorrow. The weekend curse.

Made some more nectar yesterday so refilling the hummingbird feeders. Also, been looking at the local animal shelter for a cat. My old one (Koshka) passed away a couple years ago. Time for a new face around here - Bear and I really miss Grace.

Hanging out here waiting for the rain to start - the sky is gravid.
