Out of 8,000 federal contributions from CDC employees since 2015, only 5 went to Republican causes, FEC records show
More than 550 employees at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have made over 8,000 contributions totaling more than $285,000 to Democratic causes since 2015. In that time, only five contributions have been made toward Republican causes, Federal Election Commission records indicate.
Out of those five contributions, which totaled slightly more than $1,000, three sent money to President Trump's 2016 campaign.
The contributions came from nurses, technology personnel, epidemiologists, and the CDC's chief financial officer.

- Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee
- Warren for President, Inc.
- Indivisible Action — a progressive organization which seeks to "elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda."
Soon after W.H.O. declared coronavirus a global pandemic in early March, the amount of money contributed by CDC employees to left-leaning causes by the end of the month was three-times higher than the previous five-year average.
Additionally, the total number of contributions more than doubled compared to the previous five-year monthly average.
Political contributions are closely monitored by several agencies and are a matter of public record so this information is not hard to track down and is as accurate as you are going to get. The swamp is deep at that organization. No wonder they were so quick to jump on the bullshit pandemic bandwagon and no wonder that President Trump is cutting them out of the loop.
