Church was interesting. They are a bit too literalist in their interpretation of the Bible but they have the strong sense of right and wrong that I like and that has dissapeared from the Episcopal Church I grew up with. I love the Bible but suspect that there are too many translation errors to take it at face value - a lot of wisdom and insight in there, just not the "Word of God". Ran into a couple people I know today - very popular congregation. Good messages. I liked it so will check it out next week.
Went up to Costco - needed some gas for the Toyota and lo and behold, they are now carrying the same San Marzano canned tomatoes I found briefly in their business store in Lynwood last April. They are a buck more for three cans but the same product and still 1/3rd cheaper than the cans I used to get in Seattle.
Unload the car, start dinner (thawed out a tuna steak so searing that with some rice and bok-choy) and surf for a bit.
