Looks like Loren Culp is running for Governor. From Seattle's Q13-Fox:

Democratic incumbent Gov. Jay Inslee and Republican challenger Loren Culp advanced Tuesday night through Washington’s top-two primary to the November ballot.
In early returns, Inslee had 52% of the vote. With nearly 17% of the vote, Culp, the police chief of Republic, had the largest share among 35 other candidates.
A good man. I voted for Joshua Freed as he has more business and political experience but Culp is ethical and very smart. He will choose good advisors - unlike Inslee.
There was a series of novels written by Craig Johnson made into a television series called Longmire. Loren reminds me a lot of Walt Longmire. Very happy that Tim Eyeman did not get in. He is too political. One of the swamp creatures.
