Some curious bias at The Atlantic magazine

These people are just parroting the progressive narrative and copying images from other media outlets.
Consider this article:

‘No One Is Listening to Us’
More people than ever are hospitalized with COVID-19. Health-care workers can’t go on like this.

On Saturday morning, Megan Ranney was about to put on her scrubs when she heard that Joe Biden had won the presidential election. That day, she treated people with COVID-19 while street parties erupted around the country. She was still in the ER in the late evening when Biden and Vice President–elect Kamala Harris made their victory speeches. These days, her shifts at Rhode Island Hospital are long, and they “are not going to change in the next 73 days,” before Biden becomes president, she told me on Monday. Every time Ranney returns to the hospital, there are more COVID-19 patients.

Joe Biden has not won the presidential election - the Electoral College has not voted.  They will vote in December and only then, at that time, will we know who is our next President. They also had this line:

In the U.S., states now report more people in the hospital with COVID-19 than at any other point this year—and 40 percent more than just two weeks ago.

Not according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - the first graph shows the truth:

Was copied from this article at the Chicago Sun Times, September 23, 2020:

Note that they cropped the image slightly and converted it to monochrome - I can only suspect that this was to circumvent image searching programs. I used TinEye and was able to find it with no problem.  What really grinds my gears is the third photograph:

The caption reads as follows:

A nurse breaks down at Lenox Hill Medical Center in New York City

Implying that she was overwhelmed.  She was but the story is quite different - this image was swiped from this article at ABC News, May 31, 2020

The caption from this one reads:

In this April 28, 2020, file photo, a nurse breaks down during the 7pm show of appreciation by Greenwich Village residents at Lenox Hill Medical Center in New York.

She was overwhelmed by the praise and appreciation. Media bias pure and simple. They have their agenda and are following it.
