Talk about being a sanctimonious little Karen

Talk about being uncertain of the situation. They fail to realize that they themselves are willfully giving up their own freedom.  They were handed a length of rope and they took it upon themselves to fashion a noose, put it around their necks, they tied the other end to a tree branch and are now about to step off into oblivion. Unreal. Clueless.
