Melinda Gates ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ Trump Put Americans First For Vaccines, Gushes Over Biden
Melinda Gates, wife of billionaire Bill Gates, told CNN on Thursday that she was “incredibly disappointed” that President Donald Trump’s signed an executive order that put Americans at the front of the line to receive coronavirus vaccines.
“The president just signed an executive order to try to put Americans at the front of the line when it comes to vaccines,” CNN host Poppy Harlow said, adding, “I wonder if that’s what you were worried about when you kept saying and warning against vaccine nationalism?”
“That’s exactly what we were worried about,” Melinda Gates responded. “I knew it was coming and I was just incredibly disappointed.”
“I’m much more optimistic about the president-elect and the COVID task force, this eminent task force that he has put together,” Melinda Gates said with a smile on her face. “I think we’re going to see a lot more sensible policy making in the United States, but that starts, you know, January 20 and we have still some dark months to live ahead until then.”
Stupid and willfully clueless is no way to go through life. There is a reason that President Trump signed this Executive Order. It was developed in the USA, by US citizens, funded by the US taxpayers and we should have access to it first. The Chinese puppetmasters should not be able to get it - We The People have first crack. It is not like we are preventing other nations from getting it - I refer to Section Four:
Sec. 4. International Access to United States Government COVID-19 Vaccines. After determining that there exists a sufficient supply of COVID-19 vaccine doses for all Americans who choose to be vaccinated, as required by section 3(b) of this order, the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of State, in coordination with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, the Chief Executive Officer of the United States International Development Finance Corporation, the Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and the heads of other agencies, shall facilitate international access to United States Government COVID-19 Vaccines for allies, partners, and others, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law.
Other nations can get it - it is just that we get it first.
