PBS Fires Former Employee Following Project Veritas Video Exposing ‘Hateful Rhetoric’
PBS is distancing itself from a former employee featured in a Project Veritas video who appeared to defend violent attacks on the White House, proposed re-education for the children of President Donald Trump supporters, and praised the COVID-19 deaths of GOP voters.
And of course, a re-writing of the facts was done:
“This employee no longer works for PBS,” a PBS spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “As a mid-level staff attorney, he did not speak on behalf of our organization, nor did he make any editorial decisions.”
'Scuse me? "mid-level staff attorney" - Michael Beller was not a mid-level staff attorney, he was Principal Council for PBS. Talk about a Stalinist revision of history. Of course, Part Two is going to be released tomorrow. Should be fun. Again, it is our tax dollars that pay for these people. They need to have their budget cut by 30% and have their offices moved to Topeka, Kansas. That would be a good start.

Also, this putz is a perfect example of what will happen. He will be very publicly fired. Some business adjunct to PBS will quietly hire him in about a week or two at the same or slightly higher salary. After about six months, he will reappear at PBS with a better job description and a much better salary and benefits package. They do this all the time. They need a "fall guy" but they make sure that he is well compensated for his stupidity. Accountability? Do not make me laugh.
