Spent almost $600 on electrical stuff. The garage will be fantastic and the house will be on its first push for rewiring. Looking forward to making some serious progress this spring.
Stopped in at Costco for gasoline and it came to over $60 for the full tank. Gasoline is now about $3.80 - thanks Joe. All the pipeline workers thank you too. The oil will move - killing the pipeline will not stop that. The oil will move on Warren Buffett's railroad at a cost of about $30/barrel where the pipeline would have cost about $10/barrel. Nothing like having the rich get richer - all under the guise of environmental protection / social justice / socialism.
Also interesting - was looking at plywood - started putting it up on the walls of the garage to make a French Cleat system. I had purchased four sheets about a month ago and they worked out great. Want to get two more to finish off that wall and the same stuff was now $10 more/sheet. I asked the sales people and they said that all wood products have spiked in price recently.
