This was a reader's comment to a post at Watts Up With That regarding Google purging its ranks of employees who are a little bit - - - too - - - WOKE. After all, WOKE is the show you put on for the media and the rabble. Being WOKE inside the corporate body is just never done.
All the low hanging realist people have been cancelled so what else is a hateful organization to do but eat their own? We are at the beginning of Progressive self immolation and it will only get better from here. No one, no one, will be aware enough to pass the woke litmus test and they’ll all be looking over their shoulders for people trying to take their place. The circular shooting gallery is gaining steam. AGW is poised to be outed by its’ progenitors as they realize they’re next on the hit list.
I find it amusing to watch these people strut on the stage completely ignorant of the fact that they are only the umpteenth time that this same exact character has been played. They are ignorant of history. Another comment brought up Lady Bracknell - what a delightful and prescient character. One of Wilde's best creations. This quote comes to mind:
‘The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately, in England at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square.’
And we have been seeing it happening here for the last 40 years. The students are revolting.
